A small step - A big contribution in return

What would be more admirable than seeing students helping the kids of the same age group for education?

It is happening in Delhi.

On 29th august, 2016, UMEED-A DROP OF HOPE held a stationary donation drive in Cambridge school (srinivaspuri).

Students took part towards this small step for the betterment of unprivileged children. The donation included old/new notebooks, story books, pencils, pens, colours, erasers, sharpeners, scales and every stationary which is required for learning education.

The dramatic society of  UMEED took charge and ended up this drive by doing a short NUKKAD NATAK (street play) in the school with an objective of sending a social message, which was

PLANT TRESS, SAVE TRESS (ped lgao, ped bachao).

The school was honoured by a certificate and a trophy for this contribution.

AS THE TRYING NEVER GETS WASTED. SO DOES THE “HOPE”

It was a hope to have a contribution from school going students. And it is a hope- that UMEED works with ad will be.
